UDC Has Upper Delaware T – shirts for $15 Donation
NARROWSBURG –The Upper Delaware Council, Inc. (UDC) is offering for public sale newly-designed T-shirts which feature the UDC’s Land-Water-People partnership logo and a map of the New York-Pennsylvania river valley.
The shirts, which are colored royal blue with white screen-printing, are available in all adult sizes for a $15 donation to support the non-profit UDC’s mission to conserve the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River.
The UDC ordered a first-ever supply of the 50/50 Jerzee heavyweight cotton blend t-shirts as part of its 25th anniversary commemoration in 2013.
The circular logo printed on the front left chest area represents a bald eagle flying over Roebling’s Delaware Aqueduct with the Upper Delaware River flowing below.
A large map on the back side of the shirt shows the location of the eight New York towns and seven Pennsylvania townships which comprise the Congressionally-designated Upper Delaware region, with the river as the common bond.
Shirt orders are currently being taken by phone by UDC Secretary Cindy Odell at (845) 252-3022, e-mail at cindy@upperdelawarecouncil.org, or stop by the office at 211 Bridge St. in Narrowsburg, NY between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Payment must be by either check or cash; credit cards are not accepted. Please add $2.50 per shirt to cover postage costs if mailing is requested.
