Mid-Term Reports

UDC Technical Assistance Grants have the following criteria:fireworks

  • Applicants will have a ten (10)-month period to complete their projects and request payment, with no time extensions allowed, so that all projects are finished within the 2026 fiscal year. The deadline for grantees to complete their projects and submit their documentation for reimbursement will be August 21, 2026.
  • For 2026, a FY2026 TAG Midterm Report will be due by February 20, 2026.
  • The UDC member town or township (or its respective county) must be the applicant submitting the application, even if a partnering subcontractor will actually perform the tasks.
  • Funding is not available for “brick and mortar” capital improvement construction projects.
  • All projects must be related to the implementation of the River Management Plan.
  • The member town or township must enter into a contract with the UDC as grant administrator.
  • Payments of grant funds will be disbursed only after the completion of the work as specified in each individual grant contract and approved by the Project Review Committee. A Project Completion Form must be included.

The Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, added by the U.S. Congress in 1978 as the 19th component of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System, is exactly 73.4 miles long, extending from the confluence of the East and West Branches of the Delaware River above Hancock, NY downstream to Railroad Bridge No. 2 in Mill Rift, PA. The corridor is comprised of 55,575.5 acres of land.
