UDC HONORS: The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) held its 28th Annual Awards Ceremony on April 24 at Wolff’s 1910 Banquet Hall located at Tennanah Lake Golf and Tennis Club in the Town of Fremont, NY. Award recipients included, seated from left to right: Salvatore Lombardo of Tobyhanna, PA, Robin M. Daniels Memorial Lifesaving Award, shared with an absent Josh Turner; Nellie Burnham of Lake Muscoday, NY, Woodland Weavers and Spinners Guild co-founder, Cultural Achievement Award; John McKay of Mast Hope, PA, Distinguished Service Award; Sue Currier, Delaware Highlands Conservancy executive director, Community Service Award; Board of Trustees President Sarah Mitchell for the Sunshine Hall Free Library in Eldred, Cultural Achievement Award; and Iris Helfeld of Narrowsburg, Special Recognition Award.
