NARROWSBURG – Time is running out to show support for the 2nd Annual Upper Delaware Litter Sweep by becoming a sponsor of the bi-state April 22-30 clean-up event.
The Upper Delaware Council is accepting donations through Friday, March 18. Those contributing at the levels of “Litter Enemies” ($100); “Litter Avengers” ($250); and “Litter Slayers” ($500), will be listed on the commemorative team t-shirts and publicity materials.
Any funds raised beyond the cost of the t-shirts will go toward buying supplies and safety equipment for the volunteers whose Litter Leaders will arrange land-based trash pick-up dates throughout the 15 New York towns and Pennsylvania townships surrounding the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River.
To donate or volunteer services of any type (team leadership, individual participation, goods, or professional assistance), please contact UDC Secretary Ashley Hall-Bagdonas at 845-252-3022 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mail or deliver checks payable to “UDC” (with a memo for “2022 Litter Sweep”) to the Council office at P.O. Box 192, 211 Bridge St., Narrowsburg, NY 12764. Contribute online via PayPal through the “DONATE NOW” button on the www.upperdelawarecouncil.org home page.
