“The Upper Delaware” Summer 2008 Newsletter Available Online and by Mail
NARROWSBURG – The Summer 2008 issue of “The Upper Delaware”, featuring articles entitled,
“The Gas Rush Is On”, “UDC to Host 20th Annual Family Raft Trip Aug. 3” (with a registration flyer returnable by July 28), “UDC Honors River Valley Contributors”, and “Flows & Floods Get Attention”, among other subjects, is now available.
“The Upper Delaware,” a quarterly newsletter about the environment and people of the Upper Delaware River Valley in New York and Pennsylvania, has been published by the Upper Delaware Council (UDC) free of charge since 1988.
Thanks to the launch of the UDC’s website at www.upperdelawarecouncil.org in July of 2008, readers may now view and print the complete, eight-page newsletter in full color on-line. The website also offers an archive of past issues.

“The Upper Delaware” publishes four times a year in mid-January (Winter), mid-April (Spring), mid-July (Summer), and mid-October (Fall).
The Upper Delaware Council, Inc. is the not-for-profit organization which works in partnership with the National Park Service to oversee implementation of the River Management Plan for the Upper Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River. Its members are 11 New York towns and Pennsylvania townships which border on the river, as well as the two states, and the Delaware River Basin Commission.
