NARROWSBURG –“Strides Across the Delaware”, a 5K run/walk event set for Sept. 28 to celebrate the Upper Delaware Council’s (UDC) 25th anniversary, offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities with pledges requested by Sept. 1.

Sponsors that contribute raffle prizes, needed services, or monetary donations will be entitled to provide
promotional items for participant gift bags and acknowledged in pre-and post-event publicity outlets. Those donating $250 or more will also be listed on a commemorative t-shirt.

The run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, near the Equinunk United Methodist Church, PA State Road 1023. The course will cross the interstate bridge into Lordville, NY and loop down Bouchouxville Road in the Town of Hancock before crossing the finish line in Equinunk, PA.

Registration by Sept. 15 is only $15. Participants will receive food and beverages provided by the Equinunk Watershed Alliance in addition to a t-shirt, gift bag, and the chance of winning commemorative drinking glass awards based on electronic timing.
