Reserve for UDC Awards by April 18
NARROWSBURG – The Upper Delaware Council, Inc. (UDC) is accepting reservations for its 26th Annual Awards Ceremony through Friday, April 18. The banquet will take place on Sunday, April 27, at Henning’s Local, 1040 St. Rt. 55, Eldred, NY.
Tickets are $26 and the public is invited. A reception with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar gets underway at 4 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served at 5 p.m.
U.S. Congressman Chris Gibson (R-19) will deliver the keynote address at 6 p.m., prior to the presentation of nine awards.Honored will be: Don Hamilton, Distinguished Service Award; Rayna, Connor & Madison Maguire, Raymond Nelson and Melissa Browning, Robin M. Daniels Memorial Lifesaving Award; Upper Delaware BioBlitz, Partnership Award; Lee Hartman, Community Service Award; The Delaware Company, Cultural Achievement Award; Susie Kaspar and Peter Brandon Diefenbach, Recreation Achievement Award; Isaac Green Diebboll, Volunteer Award; John B. Niflot, Special Recognition Award; and Jeffrey R. Dexter, Oaken Gavel Award.
