Reserve by Sept. 1 for River Valley Awards Banquet
NARROWSBURG – Reserve tickets by Tuesday, Sept. 1, to pay tribute to the distinguished slate of 2026 River Valley Awards recipients who will be honored at the Upper Delaware Council’s Sept. 13 ceremony.
The 38th annual banquet will be held at Central House Family Resort in Beach Lake, PA, with a 3 p.m. reception and 4 p.m. buffet dinner, followed by a keynote address on “America’s Semiquincentennial in the Upper Delaware River Valley” by historian John Conway and the presentation of awards in nine categories.
A reservation form with complete details is posted at www.upperdelawarecouncil.org. Tickets are $42 with checks payable to “UDC” sent to P.O. Box 192, Narrowsburg, NY 12764, cash payments dropped off at the Council’s 211 Bridge St. office, or $43 for online payments through https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/upperdelawarecouncil.

Nadia Rajsz (Distinguished Service Award); New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, Budget Director Blake Washington, Assembly Member Paula Elaine Kay, and Assembly Committee on Environmental Conservation Chairperson Deborah J. Glick (Partnership Award); Anthony McGlynn, Tom Candela, Jerry Donati, Andrea Alboretti-Colman, Melissa Benzinger-McGlynn, and Chris Nadovich; and Chiara Theodore, Reagan Myers, Anna Maley, Jenna Waligroski, and Madison Balmos (Robin M. Daniels Memorial Lifesaving Awards); Cochecton Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary Committee (Outstanding Community Achievement Award); Bold Gold Media Group (Community Service Award); Frank Guzmán (Volunteer Award); Fort Delaware Fife & Drum Corps (Cultural Achievement Award); Laura Chávez Silverman and Nathaniel Whitmore (Recreation Achievement Award); and Jim Rodgers (Oaken Gavel Award).
