PA Representative Jonathan Fritz to Speak at June 7 Upper Delaware Council Awards Banquet
BEACH LAKE – Pennsylvania Representative Jonathan Fritz will deliver the keynote address at the Upper Delaware Council’s (UDC) 32nd Annual Awards Ceremony on June 7 at Central House Family Resort in Beach Lake, PA.
This represents a change from the original banquet date of May 3, and will be further adjusted as necessary if public health precautions remain necessary regarding the Coronavirus situation.
Fritz was elected to represent the 111th Legislative District of the PA House of Representatives in November 2016. The district is comprised of parts of Wayne and Susquehanna Counties.
During the 2019-2020 legislative session, Fritz serves on the House Appropriations, Commerce, Environmental Resources & Energy, and Aging and Older Adult Services committees. He also served his first term as a deputy whip for the House Republican Caucus.
Fritz previously fulfilled two terms as Honesdale mayor and two terms as a Wayne County commissioner. A product of the private business sector, he was general manager and head of sales for a local tractor and farm machinery dealership for many years.
The Honesdale High School graduate earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University in 2001.
He resides in Honesdale with his wife, Donna, and their three children.
The Sunday, June 7, ceremony will open at 3 p.m. with a cash bar reception at the resort located at 81 Milanville Road.
A buffet dinner featuring prime rib, chicken parmesan, and baked salmon with maple glaze entrees will be served at 4 p.m.
The keynote address and presentation of awards to Upper Delaware River Valley contributors will follow.
