Bid on Original Artwork by April 30 to Benefit Upper Delaware Litter Sweep
NARROWSBURG – Admirers of the 6th Annual Upper Delaware Litter Sweep t-shirt logo design can own the original artwork created by Jeff George by participating in an online auction through April 30, with all proceeds benefiting this volunteer-supported event.
Visit https://udc.betterworld.org/auctions/2026-litter-sweep-artwork-by-jef to view the drawing that features a majestic heron carrying trash away to preserve our natural environment with a vintage ribbon reading “Keeping Our Country Beautiful” in the spirit of the Semiquincentennial, surrounded by cattail plants.
Accomplished multimedia artist Jeff George from the Jeff George Design and Salvage company based in Honesdale, PA, donated the piece to the Upper Delaware Council (UDC) which coordinates the annual clean-ups in 13 communities surrounding the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River throughout April Earth Month.
Bidding starts at $100 for the 12” x 18” framed and matted artwork signed by George.
The betterworld.org auction is a free service for non-profit organizations. 100% of the funds raised will be invested in the dedicated project account that enables the UDC to purchase safety colored team t-shirts with each year’s unique design, pickers, garbage bags, gloves, and safety equipment that are distributed to Litter Leaders for their local clean-ups in NY and PA.
The successful bidder can pick up the artwork at the UDC’s office in Narrowsburg, NY or arrange to have it shipped for an additional fee. Contact info@upperdelawarecouncil.org or call (845) 252-3022 for more information.
