UDC Grant Applications Due by Aug. 31

NARROWSBURG – The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) will accept applications for its Fiscal Year 2013 Technical Assistance Grants (TAG) program through 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 31. A competitive funding pool of $30,000 has been budgeted.

All New York State town and Pennsylvania township members of the UDC, as well as the counties of Sullivan, Orange, and Delaware in NY, and Wayne and Pike in PA, are eligible to submit project proposals that further the implementation of the River Management Plan for the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River.

The UDC’s Project Review Committee will hold a special meeting on Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Narrowsburg office to review proposals with the applicants. Approval of FY 2013 grant awards is expected at the Oct. 4, 7 p.m., monthly UDC meeting. Mid-term progress reports by successful grantees will be due by Feb. 28, 2013.

The deadline for municipalities to complete their projects and submit their documentation for reimbursement will be July 26, 2013.
